At Seachange lodge we guarantee that 10% of all profit is used in a local community project. Since 2004 we have been helping an outer-island community in the far north of the Vanuatu archipelago, where outside aid is scarce.

Imagine cutting a pencil in three, so some of the students  have something to write with?

The end roll of the newsprint paper in Port Vila, provides a years supply of writing paper. Simple tools  are maintained with great care and loaned out when needed.

Guests participate in this community project by bringing books and pencils, scissors, crayons to be used in the school.

Any guest who wishes to visit the community would be welcomed with open arms. (But it is not an overnight trip.)

The Outer Islands are an untouched wilderness.
